Margaret Kim, President and COO and co-founder of AllCare of Maryland, LLC, community based urgent care medical and wellness clinics and AllCare of Maryland Medical Spa, holds many leadership posts including board positions at Howard County General Hospital (a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine), Howard Hospital Foundation, Howard County General Hospital Community Relations Council, Korean American Community Association of Howard County (KACAHI), Cancer Coalition of Howard County, American Cancer Society Leadership Council, Commissioner on Governor O'Malley's Commission on Service and Volunteerism and on January 13th was sworn in by Governor O'Malley to serve a four year term as the council member to provide leadership representing the small business sector on the Council for New Americans. Margaret also serves on the board of directors for BB&T Bank representing the small business sector and the Asian population. Margaret brings a wealth of leadership, strategic planning, international operations and global marketing background to the table as a former senior executive with AT&T and CheckFree Corporation as a vice president in charge of Strategic Product Marketing and Development. Winner of numerous professional and community awards, Margaret also last year participated and graduated from Leadership Howard County in order to gain a more in depth knowledge of Howard County. Margaret's vision is to provide everyone in Howard County affordable health care and she and her husband Dr. Victor Kim participate in numerous free health fairs targeting the Latino, Over 50+ community, Korean and adolescent communities within Howard County and beyond. As a result, Margaret also helped launch the first Korean American Health Fair sponsored by Howard County General Hospital and the Horizon Foundation two years ago. Margaret also makes her 7 year old daughter Bridgette a priority, and volunteers as a room parent at Pointers Run Elementary School for her second grade class.
